Haye remains wanted by German police over the incident, while Chisora has been called before a BBBC hearing on March 14 ‘with regard to his behaviour prior, during and after’ Saturday’s WBC heavyweight title defeat to Vitali Klitschko.

Chisora, who slapped Klitschko before his loss in Munich and brawled with Haye after the bout, was arrested by German police on Sunday before being questioned and released.

He ‘wholeheartedly apologised’ for his ‘inexcusable’ actions, which also saw him spit water in the face of Klitschko’s brother Wladimir and threaten to ‘shoot’ Haye during the melee.

The British Boxing Board of Control’s general secretary Robert Smith confirmed both men may face life bans, saying: ‘It’s a possibility. The board can fine, they can suspend and they can withdraw a licence.’

Haye retired in October but the BBBC could deny him a licence should he seek to fight again.

Haye’s whereabouts are unknown but he is believed to be in Britain. Munich Police say they may enlist the help of Scotland Yard to track him down.

He has since broken his silence but did not apologise for his actions, which included punching Chisora with a fist holding a glass bottle and swinging a tripod in front of rival trainer Don Charles.

A Haye statement read: ‘I am no angel, and don’t mind a bit of trash-talk to help raise boxing’s profile. But I have never been involved in, or even witnessed, such a serious fracas. I am bitterly disappointed to have been a part of what transpired.’

Britain’s Nick Robinson-Baker, who finished tenth in the three-metre springboard synchro with Chris Mears in front of a sell-out crowd described the atmosphere as ‘absolutely mad’.

‘You hear clapping for the other teams, it’s only a few claps but when we come on it’s like the gladiators are in.’

British diver Monique Gladding gave the home fans plenty to cheer about as she helped Great Britain secure an place in the women’s 10m platform event at the summer Games, 12 months after a near-fatal accident.

The 30-year-old cracked her skull when she hit her head on the board competing in Russia last February, but on her return to competition she qualified for Tuesday’s semi-finals.

‘It’s been quite a journey since last year,’ she told the BBC.

‘There have been struggles, but it’s such an honour to be diving at this pool and to get the Olympic spot is just fantastic.

‘Having an accident like I did certainly changes your perspective on life, so this year has just been about really getting back to enjoying diving again, because afterwards it was a real struggle.’

Older adults who don’t do much exercise, and whose blood pressure is getting to the point where they may need treatment, should perhaps consider swimming as a way to help bring it back down, at least that is what a small US study of sedentary over-50-year-olds might suggest. The study was published early online in The American Journal of Cardiology earlier this month.

Swimming is an ideal form of exercise for older, sedentary people because it puts little weight-bearing stress on the body and is not likely to lead to overheating. However, despite this, we know little about the effect this form of exercise has on the arteries and blood pressure, write the authors, from the University of Texas (UT) at Austin.

They found that 12 weeks of swimming significantly lowered blood pressure and improved the function of arteries in a group of sedentary, unmedicated over-50s whose blood pressure was on the verge of “unhealthy” (prehypertension) or in stage 1 of hypertension.

For their study, Dr Nantinee Nualnim, of UT’s Cardiovascular Aging Research Laboratory, and colleagues, recruited 43 sedentary people aged over 50 (average age of 60) who also had prehypertension or stage 1 hypertension but were not on any medication.

They randomly assigned them either to do 12 weeks of swimming or 12 weeks of gentle relaxation exercises (the controls).

The researchers also took a number of measurements before, during, and at then end the 12 weeks, including measures of height, body weight, body fat, blood pressure, vascular function, blood glucose and cholesterol.

Before the 12 weeks, there were no significant differences between the swimmers and the controls.

Body mass, body fat (adiposity) and blood levels of glucose and cholesterol did not change in either group throughout the 12 weeks.

However, they found that blood pressure (casual systolic) fell from 131 to 122 mm Hg in the swimming group (note that 120 is the “ideal” for a healthy heart, as in 120/80).

There were also significant changes to vascular function, such as the “stiffness” of arteries, in the swimming group. The authors note:

“Swimming exercise produced a 21% increase in carotid artery compliance (p <0.05). Flow-mediated dilation and cardiovagal baroreflex sensitivity improved after the swim training program (p <0.05).”

Each weekend Ohio University students are decked out in their favorite National Football League and college teams’ gear.

Saturday is full of the familiar scarlet and gray from fans of our stately neighbors to the north and the occasional smattering of Cincinnati Bearcat gear.

There is a noticeable lack of hunter green and white, Ohio’s official colors. While students wear T-shirts and sweatshirts that sport their university pride, that’s not the same as wearing gear that evokes athletics pride.

For better or worse, Ohio is not a school steeped in rich athletic tradition. Students generally do not come here because of the athletics program. Sports-crazed students usually channel their passion into other teams, teams they are familiar with.

On Sundays, students and community members really show where their sports allegiance lies.

The lack of a sports rich tradition at the university has resulted in an incredibly passionate set of NFL fans on campus.

Each Sunday, fans of teams don their jerseys or shirts proudly as they cheer on their favorite teams. The campus is dominated by fan bases of three teams: the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers.

So which fan base is the most dedicated? Which set of fans are the most passionate? This ranking is not focused on which team has the most fans, but rather which team has the best fan base on campus.

3. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have toiled in futility for years. Until recently, they were a laughing stock in the NFL and fans suffered through years of losing seasons and poor performances.

Perhaps Bengals fans are conditioned to expect failure from the team. Or maybe fans are more invested in the city’s other major professional team, the playoff-bound Reds. But no matter the reason, Bengals fans are quick to lose faith in their team and accept mediocrity.

The Bengals have never won a Super Bowl (though they have played in two Super Bowls, something the Browns can’t say). Many of their fans have begun to accept the fact that maybe the team simply cannot win a championship. The fans instead embrace the small victories. Beating the Steelers or winning a division can make the season for Bengals fans. But at the first harbinger of bad things to come, fans jump off the ship and lose faith in the team.

A solid fan base has to be dedicated to supporting their team through the wins and the losses. Being a fan is like a marriage, being committed to the team through the good times and the bad.

Bengals fans are distinguished by their propensity for shouting, “Who Dey!” but if the season heads south, those voices will turn quiet. A great fan base can never be silenced.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

On campus, Steelers fans are in enemy territory. Supporting an out-of-state team that’s a bullying rival to the in-state teams, Steelers fans are significantly outnumbered by fans of the in-state teams.

And Bengals and Browns fans do not like the Steelers.

The Steelers are one of the most successful franchises in professional sports, winning six Super Bowls, more than any other NFL franchise. Steeler fans have been spoiled by success recently, with the team winning two Super Bowls in the last five years. Many of those wins have come at the expense of the Bengals and Browns. Again this season, the Steelers are considered among the favorites to return to the Super Bowl.

This success makes them a target on campus, but Steeler fans do not waver. Though they face harmless ridicule from other fans, they do not flag in their support of the black and gold. They exude the same confidence that their favorite team displays, a confidence that can border on snobbish. Steeler fans hold the team to a higher standard than the other teams ranked here. They expect the team to win championships, and wins against division opponents are just part of a larger goal.

So if the Steelers fans are so loyal and confident, why are they not ranked as the best fan base?

Because rooting for the Steelers is easy. Rooting for a team that consistently competes as one of the NFL’s premier teams does not test the loyalty of a fan base. Yes, not every season is a great success, but Steeler fans are conditioned to believe that they will see success in the near future.

So maybe the Steelers have great, dedicated fans, but it is not tough to root for a great team. Staying loyal to a perennial loser is much more difficult.

Speaking of perennial losers…

1. Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are part of a city of tortured sports franchises. The Cavaliers lost LeBron James, and the Indians have been in steep decline since making the playoffs in 2007. The Browns have had two winning seasons since 1999 and have lost 10 or more games in six of the last seven seasons. As of this writing, they were already 1-3 so far this season (A previous version of this article mistakenly stated the Browns’ record as 3-0, a mistake an editor [a wishful thinking Browns fan] made in transposing the numbers. The new 1-3 record here reflects all four games played up to this point in the season).

That does not stop Browns fans from staying fiercely loyal.

Cleveland fans proudly sport their team’s gear every day of the week. In nearly every classroom, a Browns T-shirt or jersey can be spotted.

Their loyalty in the face of futility is admirable. Bengals fans are used to losing and are not as invested in the team. Steeler fans expect winning, but remain loyal when the team loses.

It is difficult to say whether Browns fans really expect winning or losing, because they have the same dedication each week, no matter a win or loss.

Despite poor talent evaluation and shoddy ownership of their team, Browns fans stick by their team. If Browns fans had been in the same situation as Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, they would have stuck by him and renewed their vows.

Why Cleveland fans remain so loyal is beyond any rational explanation. No one would blame Browns fans for giving up on the team and finding another team, yet they remain attached to the team.

Maybe that’s what makes Browns fans special: nothing can faze them. Not losing seasons, ugly uniforms, recurring major injuries to players, or even Tim Couch.

As more is learned about the risk of concussions in football, from the NFL down to high school and youth leagues—where players are particularly vulnerable—the importance of a quick and proactive response to any suspected head injury is becoming ever clearer. What is also becoming clear is that relying on a high school football player to take himself out of the game after a concussive shot to the head is a losing medical strategy. Might as well ask if he wants to play in a tutu.

So a helmet featuring a chinstrap equipped with sensors that make the call themselves could be a brain saver. That’s the idea behind the Indicator, an electronic chinstrap that gauges hits (based on accelerometer software technology) and uses colored lights to indicate the probability that a player has suffered a concussion. The Indicator, which should reach shelves this summer at a cost of $40 to $50, was fieldtested this month in practices before the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. “We’re measuring the g-force, duration and direction of a hit. The device just says, There was a large hit, check the kid out,” said Chris Circo, CEO of Battle Sports Science, which developed the Indicator. The difficulty, though, is in identifying criteria that define a bell-ringing blow.

Studies employing football helmets equipped with accelerometers have found that there is no particular g-force that can indicate a concussion in an individual player. Last year Purdue University researchers tracked hits on a high school team over an entire season and documented blows below 100 g’s that caused concussions as well as some above 200 g’s that did not. In that study the number of blows to the head over the season was a better indicator of impaired brain function than was the severity of a particular shot.

“We sincerely hope that there will be a device that can determine when an athlete is at risk of [head] injury,” says Eric Nauman, one of the Purdue researchers, “but right now it isn’t feasible due to the limited understanding of the biomechanics surrounding concussions.” Still, Circo notes that for the many high school teams that don’t have a certified athletic trainer, the Indicator is another set of electronic eyes on the field.

INDIANAPOLIS – Years ago, BenJarvus Green-Ellis found himself in the same position as thousands of youngsters with a passion for football: His mother, fearing serious injury, didn’t want her son playing the sport.

That kind of parental protection hasn’t waned. In fact, because of the number of head injuries that athletes young and old have suffered playing fast, physical contact sports such as football and hockey – especially in recent years – concerns have never been greater. Numerous studies are being done to gauge the seriousness of concussions and how best to help prevent and treat them, but more information is always helpful. That’s where Green-Ellis – whose mother ultimately relented and allowed her son to play football – comes in.

The Patriots running back wore a cutting-edge chin strap during last night’s 21-17 loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl that detects when a player has absorbed a hit to the head that strongly recommends medical attention. The Impact Indicator, made by Battle Sports Science, can alert coaches, trainers, and even game officials to a situation where a player who has been hit should leave for observation. Green-Ellis, who said he’s never had a concussion – “No, not that I know of’’ – quickly signed up when asked if he would be willing to wear the strap. “I’m really wearing it just to improve the awareness for parents and things like that,’’ said Green-Ellis, who rushed for a team-high 44 yards on 10 carries. “You see all the concussion hits that have been going on in the NFL, and I just want to bring up the awareness.’’

According to the company’s website, the Impact Indicator uses sensor technology to measure and calculate the force and duration of a hit to a player’s helmet. If it measures a hit that reaches a certain level, a light on the chin strap turns red, starts blinking, and alerts others to the potential danger for the player who took the hit. With so many concussions being diagnosed in football, and numerous others that go undiagnosed, even at the youth and high school levels, it also would give nervous parents watching their children a sign to look for.

“You see your child out there, you don’t really know what’s really going on, but if you can see the light is blinking, then you can have a coach or somebody check them out,’’ Green-Ellis said. “It can do more for concussion tests because it’s something that’s really been serious.’’ Green-Ellis, 26, a fourth-year pro who led the Patriots in rushing this season with 667 yards and 11 touchdowns, has been wearing the Impact Indicator for a few weeks. Despite the newness of the product and the technical component it features, he said neither the strap nor his helmet feels different, and he didn’t expect it to be a distraction. “No, it won’t be,’’ said Green-Ellis.

“It’s a chin strap. There’s really nothing that’s different about it. The only thing that’s different is it registers the amount of impact that you’re getting once you get hit. That will be fun. I think that’s fun.’’ Fun? Some might question whether it’s fun to get hit, even when wearing pads and a helmet.

But if advancements can be made in detecting possible concussions and a quicker medical response is available when someone takes a hit to the head, maybe hesitant parents will be more willing to let their children suit up and take the field. Michael Whitmer can be reached at mwhitmer@globe.com.

Chris Robshaw has been confirmed as England captain for the remainder of the RBS Six Nations Championship by interim head coach Stuart Lancaster.

The Harlequins flanker has led England to away victories over Scotland and Italy in the first two rounds of the tournament.

He was initially appointed for just those two games, but Lancaster confirmed on Wednesday morning that Robshaw will continue in the role.

Lancaster said: “Chris has stepped into the role well and led a new team in two tough away fixtures.

“He is one of many leaders we could have chosen against Scotland and Italy but he has shown on and off the field the qualities required to captain a side.

“We feel it is right to make a call now that Chris will lead England for the rest of the Six Nations.”

Remarkably, the 25-year-old Robshaw had played just one Test for England before this Six Nations, against Argentina in Salta in June 2009.

Robshaw said: “Captaining the team against Scotland was the proudest day of my life and to get the chance again against Italy was fantastic.

“To do so at Twickenham would be something else and I’m thankful to the coaches for giving me that opportunity and to all the lads for helping me over the last few weeks.

“For now I’m just focusing on training hard and helping us get ready to play a strong Welsh team.”

England’s next fixture is against Wales – with whom they share top spot in the table – at Twickenham on February 25.

Meanwhile, Lancaster has made 16 players available for club duty this weekend, including Manu Tuilagi, Toby Flood and Courtney Lawes who are all coming back from injury.

Ben Morgan is available for the Scarlets after making a substantial impact off the bench against Italy last weekend.

Tom Palmer – the only member of England’s starting XV to be released for club duty – is set to feature for Stade Francais against Toulon.

England players released to their clubs: M Brown (Harlequins), C Clark (Northampton Saints), P Doran Jones (Northampton Saints), T Flood (Leicester Tigers), C Lawes (Northampton Saints), J Marler (Harlequins), L Mears (Bath Rugby), B Morgan (Scarlets), T Palmer (Stade Francais), C Sharples (Gloucester Rugby), J Simpson (London Wasps), M Stevens (Saracens), M Tuilagi (Leicester Tigers), J Turner-Hall (Harlequins), T Waldrom (Leicester Tigers), R Webber (London Wasps).

Robinho has told Sky Sports that AC Milan need to keep a clean sheet against Arsenal as well as trying to exploit their defence.

Milan tackle Arsenal in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 encounter on Wednesday.

Arsenal make the trip to the San Siro in good form with three wins from their last four games, and they also play at a stadium they have fond memories of – with two wins from their only two matches there.

Milan come into the match on top of Serie A after a 2-1 win at Udinese at the weekend and Robinho is confident they know what they need to do against the Premier League giants.

“Our first objective is to keep them to zero in Milan,” Robinho told Sky Sports.

“If that happens then we increase our chances of making the next round because we will be able to score in London.

Problems

“People have also spoken about the problems in the Arsenal defence, and if that is right we will need to exploit this factor, but when you’re in a match every player normally comes up with his best.

“But Arsenal does not practice the habitual English game, because they are actually very open.

“They have swiftness in attack with somebody like Walcott, but football is not about a quality of an individual, the best team is always from working together.

“But they are not the same side and have lost the power without Cesc Fabregas, Nasri and Wilshere – although they have improved in the last few months, and they seem to now attack without fear.

“Normally I would say goals would be key, but I think the best defence will be the key for who moves through.”

Robinho revealed that Milan have singled out Robin van Persie for special treatment.

“It is obvious how important the goals of RVP are but we need to attack them too,” he said.

“But we do not fear the Dutchman, we have worked on a system to annul his performance.”

Despite Milan going into the match as favourites, Robinho insists that Arsenal cannot be underestimated.

“When you get to the elimination rounds, a clear favourite does not exist, for me things are 50/50 but our objective is to make sure we change this percentage on the night.

“Our triumph in Udine at the weekend has a double value for us, for the league it is three points but we also have the morale boost for the Champions League.”

Nothing to prove

Robinho admits that, following his stint with Manchester City, playing against English clubs is now extra special for him.

“To play against an English club is special for me because of my past in Man City, but I do not need to demonstrate anything against Arsenal,” he continued.

“The Premier League did not see the best Robinho, but now I am in a good moment.”

Finally, Robinho admitted he was delighted to see Thierry Henry back with Arsenal, although the match at the San Siro will be his farewell appearance before he departs back for America.

“Many people have doubted the presence of Henry for the second time, but really all he has demonstrated is how much of a worldwide star he is.”

It wasn’t that long ago that players on the Professional Golfers Association tour were separated into two categories—Tiger Woods and everyone else. Where once his iconic brand was front and center on anything golf related, and in many non golf areas, and was the determining factor in television ratings and fan interest, it is more about Tiger the man as the icon is now just an everyman golfer on tour. But fear not Tiger fans, he’s still good enough to win and will likely win many more tournaments and more majors—there’s just no telling when.

It has been nearly two and half years since Tiger’s last victory on the PGA tour and it is approaching four years since his last major victory—the 2008 US Open when he gutted his way to victory despite needing surgery on his knee. It was the following year however when his entire support system fell apart…actually it was more of Tiger purposefully tearing it up. His game became secondary to his personal issues, and it showed. It took him until this past December before Tiger was competitive in tournaments again, and he won his own—the Chevron World Challenge.

If you are a Tiger Woods fan and are wistful for the days when he was the top dog in golf then I suggest you stick in a DVD of his 1997 Masters victory because those days are done. No longer do others fear the Tiger charge. There will not be any more Mike Weir fades, as seen at the 1999 PGA championship when Weir—paired with Tiger in the final group on the final day—blew up and shot 80. There will be more Y.E. Yang’s however, who—paired with Tiger in the final group on the final day—took the best that Tiger dished out and smacked him back with even harder blows to win the 2009 PGA Championship. In the decade between those two Major tournaments Tiger was on top of the golf world. Yang may have hammered in the final golf nail in the Tiger icon coffin—his own personal issues that came to a head later that year completely closed the lid.

Sunday at Pebble Beach Tiger and Phil Mickelson were paired in the next to last group. While Phil went nuts and shot 64 to win the tournament Tiger went nuts as well—but the bad nuts, shooting 75 and falling right out of the top ten.

“I putted awful,” said Tiger in what can be classified as an understatement. When Tiger is on his game he is in scoring range off the tee—when bad Tiger is playing then two foot putts tend to be adventures. Meanwhile Phil was holing long par putts of 30 and 40 feet. The Tiger charge ended up being more of a three legged sack race. But his reputation still carries weight, as seen by the high television ratings for Pebble Beach.

“He played really good today,” Tiger said of Phil. When it comes to the pairing Tiger is getting used to making these statements. For years Tiger owned Phil on the golf course. The pressure

built up inside of Phil, like it did with the rest of the professional golfers who tried to match Tiger, but in the past five years the roles have reversed. It is now Phil who owns Tiger, and it is Tiger who looks overwhelmed by the pressure. Of course Phil has won his share of major tournaments and feels that he can compete with anyone on the world, especially since the old Tiger often looks like an old Tiger.

For those who detest Tiger and wish he would go away…well, no such luck. Tiger is proving that he can be competitive again. He may not have the ability to overpower golf courses anymore and may not have the aura to intimidate his opponents anymore but he still has the talent to win. Johnny Miller still believes that he can catch Jack Nicklaus for major tournament victories—he needs four to reach Nicklaus’ total of 18. The key will be watching him during the majors this season. His personal problems are mostly a thing of the past and certainly having the press hound him every step has lessened his daily stress so now Tiger can concentrate fully on golf.

Tiger has come back to the pack, there is little doubt of that, but he still possesses enough talent to win the occasional tournament. Until Tiger can come to the realization that the icon is dead however he may continue to struggle closing out victories. His lofty expectations may have once been a catalyst behind his greatness but it now will be a burden.

The icon may be gone but there is still a very good golfer remaining.

Did you know…

…And for those who follow me on twitter you do, but the abominable display of officiating by Scott Foster on Sunday may have proven how single-minded and tunnel-visioned NBA officials can be. For those of you who missed the atrocity let me summarize the situation. There was 4.2 seconds remaining in a one point game with the Lakers when, on an in-bounds play, Foster decided to call a five second violation against the Raptors and award the ball to the Lakers. Now it may sound like a simple call but Rasual Butler asked Foster to count out loud so he would know when five seconds were up. Before Foster hit five Butler motioned for the time out. As well ten feet behind Foster Raptor coach Dwane Casey was furiously calling for time out. Apparently Foster was so involved in counting that he neither saw Butler nor heard Casey. On an in-bound play Foster has only three things to do—watch the ball handler, listen for called time outs and count. Apparently Foster can only do one thing at a time.

…That the NBA responded to complaints about the call by stating that Foster made the right call since Butler’s motion for a time out came after five seconds. At no point did the NBA state however that Foster should have been paying attention to the Raptor bench where the head coach was calling time out at four seconds.

…That Foster is the same official who made a goaltending call in the final seconds against the Blazers earlier in the week which enabled Oklahoma City to win a game in Portland. There were two problems with the call—first Foster made the call from center court and second he was wrong. The NBA had to admit the error since it was caught on videotape. Just because there is video of Casey frantically calling for time is obviously not enough evidence for the NBA. As well if the NBA criticized the same official twice in one week they may have been forced to suspend him, or even fire him. And unless you’re caught selling games to gamblers NBA officials do not lose their job.

…That the Jeremy Lin story is a good story but it is the result of a star being born on Broadway and the New York press building the story into a world wide phenomenon. I like the Lin story—I am partial to stories of people who, when given their one—and likely only—opportunity they take advantage of it. But it has been just one week. Let’s see how much of a phenomenon he is when the heavy minutes he’s playing and the world wide attention begin to wear him down.

Qatar’s first-ever National Sports Day was celebrated yesterday on a grand scale with a large number of residents and visitors taking part in several events hosted by government departments, public and private sector organisations and sports bodies.

The National Sports Day is a pioneering initiative by HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, who issued Emiri Decree No 80 for 2011 on December 6 declaring the second Tuesday of February to mark the occasion every year.

Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) had directed all sport clubs and federations to open the gates of their facilities for all community members to celebrate the day. This was in line with its strategy to promote sports, physical education and sustainable development, in compliance with Qatar National Vision 2030.
Both Qatari and expatriate families expressed their gratitude to HH the Heir Apparent for earmarking a day that places emphasis on healthy living.

A Qatari employer described the National Sports Day as an “investment as it helps his employees to refresh their bodies and minds, have a common cause to celebrate and exercise and return to work fresher and with a more friendly attitude towards each other”.

Hundreds of residents and their families gathered at the Museum of Islamic Art Park to take part in sport matches organised by the QOC.

Top government officials, including HE the Minister of Public Health Abdullah bin Khalid al-Qahtani, participated in the marches from two points at the MIA Park and from Sheraton Park, finishing at the Oryx area.

A sports zone set up by the QOC featured table tennis, basketball, lawn tennis as well as virtual games for children. There was a tent for electronic shooting competitions in co-ordination with the Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation.

The event was also used to promote the concept of healthy eating. Fruits such as bananas and apples were available for free at many locations along the path of the marches.

The participants got a chance to check their blood sugar level, weight, height and body mass index as well as other vital signs at booths set up by the Supreme Council of Health and the Hamad Medical Corporation.
Qatar Foundation hosted fun-filled activities at four locations on the Education City grounds. As much as 1mn calories, the equivalent of a 1,250 fast food meals, were burned collectively by participants.

Qatar University organised an integrated programme of activities around the theme “Sports is a Lifestyle” for participants, including people with special needs.

A mini marathon hosted by QNB had 3,500 entries in addition to 4,000 other guests who participated in other activities at the QNB Fun Zone and recreation areas.

Qatar Petroleum hosted a variety of activities at Al Ghazal Club. HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada attended.
