SIS Announces Promotions of Brian Reiff and Alex Vigderman

Sports Info Solutions is pleased to announce the following promotions within the Research
and Development Department.
Alex Vigderman has been promoted to Senior Research Analyst. After joining the company
as a Research Associate in January of 2017, Alex ascended to the role of Research Analyst in
March of 2018. Since that time, Alex has led our trailblazing efforts into developing
analytical tools and metrics for football while also continuing to contribute a high degree of
thought and insight into enhancing our long established baseball offerings. He has also
shown a ready willingness to provide assistance and guidance to his co-workers, and he
does an admirable job of communicating the ideas, theories, and practices of our analytical
work to outside parties in an easily understandable way.
Before his transition to the sports industry Alex graduated from the University of
Pennsylvania with a major in Psychology and minors in Statistics and Mathematics before
working at Siemens Healthcare as a software test engineer for several years.
Brian Reiff has been promoted to Research Analyst. Brian started at Sports Info Solutions
as a Video Scout in 2016 while a student at nearby Lehigh University. In February of 2017
he transitioned to Research and Development as an intern during his final semester in
school, after which he was hired full-time as a Research Associate upon graduating in June
of 2017 with degrees in Computer Science and Statistics. Since that time, Brian has
provided outstanding work in helping to advance our PART System analytics, coordinating
the expansion of that system to other levels of baseball like MiLB and NPB, and presenting
the results of our research to industry audiences, among many other things. In his new
position Brian will have the opportunity to expand upon these achievements as well as to
provide more project leadership.
Please join me in congratulating Alex and Brian.
